I am featured on the blog on the Flavours of Italy website.
I have been sketching and painting since early childhood, but stopped in my late 20s for many years. I was inspired to take up painting again 5 years ago, and in 2010 went on my first organised painting holiday in Tuscany with Flavours of Italy.
I had my first public art exhibition at Oxfordshire Artweeks in May this year, where I exhibited jointly with two friends, Milena Lebedeva and Genia Neal, sisters and artists from St Petersburg in Russia.
Since then I have exhibited at several exhibitions around Oxfordshire. In August I quit my job as a Legal Secretary to become a professional artist, and have continued exhibiting in Oxfordshire, and around the UK, including The Parallax Art Fair an annual international exhibition at Chelsea Old Town Hall, London, which was held from 17-19 October 2013.
I have an exhibition of my sketches and painting currently running on the first floor of the Java & Co Coffee House on the corner of New Inn Hall Street and George Street Oxford until 25 January 2014. Other exhibitions already confirmed in 2014 are listed on my events page.
